The 12V NMEA0183 LCJ Capteurs Windvane Anemometer is an ultrasonic wind sensor with a vertical arm, designed for motorboats and various onshore installations. This model, easy to install, provides precise data on wind speed and direction, essential for optimal navigation.
The CV7-V sensor stands out for its versatility and ease of mounting on vertical structures, such as arches or cabin roofs, thanks to its 30 cm vertical support and its bracket compatible with Glomex© mounts. It is particularly suitable for sailboats where masthead mounting is impossible, allowing for a discreet and efficient side-of-mast installation.
The CV7-V uses ultrasonic technology to offer a wind measurement range from 0.25 to 80 knots with a direction sensitivity of ±1°. Configurable to meet the specific needs of slow or fast motorboats, it can be operated via a PC or any indicator with a standardized NMEA® input. In PC mode, this bidirectional sensor allows for the programming and configuration of several parameters, including angle correction, smoothing time constant, and units of measurement.
