Super Marine Bar Anodes are essential devices for effectively protecting your boat against corrosion.
Available in zinc, aluminum or magnesium, these anodes are sacrificed to preserve your boat's metal parts . They must be regularly maintained, as once worn beyond 60%, they lose their protective effectiveness.
Super Bar Anodes offer optimum protection depending on your boating environment. In seawater, zinc or aluminum alloys are recommended, with a preference for aluminum, which is lighter, has a higher electronegative potential and is less polluting. These anodes are ideal for aluminum hulls.
For freshwater navigation, however, magnesium anodes are preferable.
