These tenders are made by Hypalon which is a commercial name used by the American company Dupont. In reality it is the name of a material called chlorosulfonated polyethylene (CSM). Hypalon has the following advantages: it is long-lasting (if you have a Hypalon float it can last 25 years if you take good care of it), it is easy to repair thanks to the material and to the glueing that is done cold.
