The CV7V vertical arm Ultrasonic Wind Vane-Anemometer + LCJ Capteurs barometer is an ultrasonic wind measuring instrument, ideal for motorboats. With its integrated barometric sensor, this model offers increased precision and reliability, essential for safe navigation.
The CV7V-BARO sensor has a 30 cm vertical support and is compatible with various mounts, including Glomex© types. Easy to install on arches or cabin roofs, this sensor is also suitable for sailboats unable to mount instruments at the masthead. Its compact and discreet design makes it almost invisible while providing crucial data on wind speed and direction, as well as atmospheric pressure.
The CV7V-BARO uses advanced ultrasonic technology to measure wind speeds ranging from 0.25 to 80 knots, with a directional sensitivity of ±1°. This sensor is configurable and can be used via a PC or any other indicator compatible with NMEA® standards. In PC mode, it allows for precise adjustments, such as angle correction and smoothing time constant. The CV7V-BARO is particularly suited to the specific constraints of slow or fast motorboats.
