A TECHNICAL DESIGN FOR HIKING

The Zhik Hiking X Boot features the patented ZhikGrip™ II system, designed to interlock with hiking straps. This technology ensures increased stability and optimal ankle support during intensive dinghy sailing phases.

The structure is based on a durable 3D knit construction, allowing for a weight of 470g. This design reduces material waste during production while offering a precise fit thanks to the full side lacing system, equipped with an integrated pocket to minimize snagging.

MICHELIN GRIP AND PRECISION

The outsole benefits from Michelin Fibrelite technology, integrating textile fibers into the rubber. This process allows for a thinner sole for better dexterity and a direct contact feel with the deck, while doubling durability compared to standard models.

The sole profile features a unique tread pattern with deep channels to facilitate water drainage. The toe area is reinforced with a specific seam, while drainage ports located at the arch allow water accumulated inside the boot to be expelled.

CUSTOMIZABLE FIT AND COMFORT

These unisex boots use a removable insole system allowing the fit to be adjusted as needed. It is possible to fix the insole for rigid support, remove it to gain volume, or replace it with a Hiking X Carbon insole for increased directional stiffness.

Support is completed by a low-profile Velcro ankle strap, featuring a non-slip channel and a rear security loop. The high-strength bonded construction, combined with reinforced panels, guarantees protection against abrasion while maintaining the flexibility necessary for maneuvers on the water.
