Choosing the right board

This sport is for everyone. Whether you just want to be on the water peacefully paddling and feeling yourself glide, or on the contrary, if you are looking for thrills and prefer surfing waves, you can be satisfied. However, to be truly satisfied with your experience, you will need to choose the best board adapted to your needs.

Which board should you choose?

To choose your board, you must take into account how you wish to use it, that is to say on the water and its suitability for your body type.

You should know that there are 2 types of SUP boards:

- Rigid paddles

- Inflatable paddles

To opt for a rigid paddle, you will need to take into account your storage capacity, that is to say: do you have a garage, for example, for storage? For transporting the paddle, you need to ensure you have the means to transport it.

On the contrary, if you opt for an inflatable paddle, you will be more flexible because it does not require a means of transport (apart from the bag and your arms ;-) ), it does not require large storage space when you are not using it (you can deflate it after each use) and if you have storage space, you are not obliged to deflate it all the time. It is also recommended not to deflate it all the time to better preserve it and ensure it lasts.
