SikaSikaflex 290 DC is a UV resistant joint sealant. Sikaflex 290DC is designed solely for the purpose of making rubber joints in traditional wooden decks used in ship and yacht construction. It cures to a flexible elastomer that can be sanded.
It exhibits excellent resistance to weather conditions and is suitable for making joints that are particularly exposed in marine environments. Sikaflex meets the requirements of the International Maritime Organization (IMO) with respect to flame spread.
