Very cozy for these mild fall, winter, spring days as there climate goes amok. I wouldn't rely on it for sailing, it's not technical and is way too loose, but that's not why I bought it. I bought it for out-and-about urban use rainy days with my dog or whatever errands force me out on a crap day. Really appreciate the length and the warm lining. Long enough to cover the bum while seated, I am happy to say it keeps me warm and dry. Im a bit fussy on hoods though. This one is too roomy.
