Women's drysuits
The drysuit: staying dry during your dinghy sailing session
When weather conditions get rough, it becomes all the more important to protect yourself against water splashes and spray. Whether you practice dinghy sailing, kitesurfing or windsurfing, you will find here our selection of drysuits, ideal for these types of nautical activities.
Why choose a drysuit
You will need to invest in a drysuit if you are planning outings in cold weather. The main goal of the drysuit is obviously to keep you dry, because moisture will make you get cold very quickly. A drysuit is effective thanks to two criteria. The first is the material used for the suit itself. It must be completely waterproof, that is to say with a waterproofness level of at least 10,000 mm. The second criterion is the protection at the sleeves and collar. In general, these are made of neoprene, and tight enough to prevent water from entering at the sleeves, the collar and/or the ankles. It is these two criteria that guarantee effective waterproofness for sailing in difficult conditions. Another advantage of the drysuit is that it is windproof, so it will prevent air from infiltrating and making you cold. Finally, a drysuit allows you to wear several layers underneath, to ensure optimal thermal comfort.
