TECHNICAL DESIGN FOR WARM WEATHER SAILING

The Zhik Women's Hybrid Gear Performance Technical Pants stand out for their ability to regulate body temperature during intensive sailing in warm weather (25-30+°C). Designed with recycled Repreve® fabric, this garment offers optimal breathability and quick drying, essential for comfort in tropical or summer conditions.

The structure incorporates UPF 50+ sun protection, certified according to Australian standards AS/NZS 4399:2020, ensuring an effective barrier against UV rays. Its lightweight nature and 3D body-mapped construction allow for total freedom of movement, essential for dinghy sailing, skiff sailing, or paddleboarding.

ERGONOMICS AND FIT ADAPTED TO FEMALE ATHLETES

Developed in collaboration with high-level athletes, this model is the first in the Hybrid Gear range to offer a women-specific fit. The high-waisted profile ensures increased coverage and support during active maneuvers on the water.

The fit is completed by a flat waistband with an internal elastic drawstring, avoiding any discomfort under a harness. The high-stretch flatlock seams ensure increased resistance while limiting skin irritation, even after several hours of sailing.

SUSTAINABLE INNOVATION AND ABRASION RESISTANCE

Zhik incorporates eco-designed materials by replacing traditional neoprene with Yulex® natural rubber, a traceable and deforestation-free alternative. This material is combined with recycled fibers to reduce the environmental impact of the equipment.

To meet the mechanical requirements of sailing, the seat and knee areas are equipped with ZhikTex II panels. This coating offers high abrasion resistance, protecting the fabric against repeated wear from contact with the deck or boat equipment.
