Once activated, your MOB1 Man Overboard AIS MOB Ocean Signal beacon will transmit an alert signal to all surrounding AIS receivers and plotters.
The built-in GPS ensures that your location is accurately sent to your boat and to those who may come to rescue you. The MOB1 also allows you to activate the VHF DSC alarm on your boat.
The Ocean Signal MOB1 beacon is extremely compact, so you can easily store it or install it in your life jacket without it getting in the way.
RELEASING THE DISTRESS BEACON
To activate this beacon, simply pull the red tab. The beacon will be activated immediately.
Following the activation you will have to deploy the antenna to increase your range, for this you will have to pull on the grey tab holding the antenna. Thus the antenna will be released automatically.
