THE GILL OS2 OFFSHORE JACKET: A WATERPROOF SEMI-OFFSHORE SAILING JACKET
The Gill OS2 Offshore jacket returns in a new and improved version! Discover its new protective high collar with a fleece lining and storm flap that will keep you warm and shielded from spray, wind, and rain.
This sailing jacket is designed for semi-offshore sailing thanks to its XPLORE® 2-layer membrane, developed by Gill, creating an incredibly waterproof, windproof, and breathable protective layer.
AN ECO-FRIENDLY SAILING JACKET
Because environmental preservation is of utmost importance to Gill, no fewer than 14 recycled plastic bottles were used in the making of the OS2 ensemble. The waterproof and breathable outer fabric now features a CFC-free DWR C0 finish.
This jacket is thus composed of 98% recycled plastic bottles and fibers, reducing 2 tons of packaging and waste annually for this OS2 ensemble alone!
The same applies to the 6 handwarmer pockets, which are also lined with reversible fleece. The 2 chest pockets are equipped with water-resistant YKK AquaGuard zippers.
A HIGH-PERFORMANCE AND COMFORTABLE SAILING JACKET
The Gill OS2 sailing jacket features adjustable outer cuffs with polyurethane inner seals for enhanced comfort and waterproofing.
Safety is a priority, with numerous reflective panels on the jacket and a fully lined high-visibility hood.
The high-quality XPEL® fabric combines hydrophobic and hydrophilic technologies to effectively wick moisture away from the skin while providing unbeatable protection from the elements. This offers water repellency, odor control, and stain resistance.
