LALIZAS LIFELINK MOB HORSESHOE BUOY: MAN OVERBOARD SAFETY
The Lalizas Lifelink MOB Horseshoe Buoy is an automatic deployment device for rapid intervention in Man Overboard situations. This high-visibility inflatable horseshoe buoy triggers upon contact with water to provide immediate assistance to the person who has fallen overboard.
COMPOSITION AND IMMEDIATE DETECTION
The kit includes a high-visibility inflatable horseshoe buoy with a LALIZAS whistle, a danbuoy with a flag, and a sea anchor, all remaining connected to prevent loss. A water-activated “Safelite IV” LED flashing light (SOLAS/MED/USCG) improves detection, with a LALIZAS lifejacket integrated into the device.
CASING, MOUNTING AND MAINTENANCE
The rigid HDPE casing with UV protection, manufactured by rotomolding, attaches to the lifelines via stainless steel mounts (rail distance 300–310 mm). Compliant with ISAF Offshore Special Regulations, the equipment requires maintenance after each use or every 3 years by an authorized service center.
