The Wichard Long Shackle is a must-have attachment for sailboats.
It is ideal as a tack when the eyelet is not flush with the sail or to attach to a large plate like a backstay.
The axle locks into notches, which prevents unintentional unscrewing. It is also captive when unscrewed. For permanent fixings, prefer shackles with a hexagon socket.
