A MiniPlex 3Pro is an advanced multiplexer designed to merge data from various NMEA 0183 sources into a single, coherent data stream. It offers a complete solution for integrating and managing navigation information on board your boat. Thanks to its gateway function, it allows bidirectional conversion between NMEA 0183, NMEA 2000, and Ethernet protocols, ensuring optimal connectivity between your marine electronic devices.

DATA CONVERSION AND DISTRIBUTION

The MiniPlex 3Pro excels in data conversion and distribution. With four NMEA 0183 outputs, it individually routes received data to different devices. Its bidirectional Ethernet port allows simultaneous transmission and reception of NMEA 0183 data via a network, ensuring efficient distribution of information to multiple connected devices. Communication speeds are supported up to 115200 bauds, and all NMEA 0183 inputs/outputs as well as the Ethernet port are galvanically isolated to prevent ground loops.

SEATALK AND NMEA2000 INTEGRATION

Input 1 of the MiniPlex 3Pro can be configured in SeaTalk mode, ensuring the transmission and reception of SeaTalk data converted to NMEA 0183. It also serves as a multiple gateway between NMEA 0183 and NMEA 2000, where each NMEA 0183 input is visible on the NMEA 2000 network as an individual data source. The routing table allows data from all NMEA 2000 sources to be routed to the Ethernet port and the four NMEA 0183 outputs.
