POD DRIVE 1.0 EVO EPROPULSION: QUIET AND MAINTENANCE-FREE ELECTRIC OUTBOARD MOTOR

The Pod Drive 1.0 Evo Epropulsion is an electric propulsion system designed for boats under 1 tonne. This POD Drive motor provides an ecological alternative to thermal engines for use in seawater, freshwater, and brackish water. It is particularly suitable for sailboats due to its compact design and efficiency.

This Pod Drive 1.0 Evo offers a power of 1 kW, equivalent to approximately 3 horsepower. The maximum thrust is 32 kg. The motor operates at a voltage of 48 V. The noise level is 55 dB. Its weight is 6.2 kg. It is designed with a hydrodynamic profile for optimal performance.

The Pod Drive 1.0 Evo is equipped with a brushless motor, guaranteeing high efficiency and no maintenance. Energy recovery is integrated, allowing the battery to be recharged while the boat is moving. A safety lanyard is included to immediately stop the motor in case of a man overboard. The control is compatible with both left-handed and right-handed users and allows adjustment of the maximum power.

The Pod Drive 1.0 Evo comes with the POD motor, a communication module, a main switch cable, a 5-meter COM cable to connect the battery, a set of keys, and the necessary documentation. This model is compatible with ePropulsion LiFePO4 batteries from the E series. The speed levels are continuous and it integrates a GPS.
