ELECTRIC OUTBOARD NAVY 6.0 / SHORT SHAFT / ENERGY RECOVERY EPROPULSION: ELECTRIC MOTOR FOR BOATS UP TO 3000KG WITH ENERGY RECOVERY
The Electric Outboard Navy 6.0 / Short Shaft by ePropulsion is a 6000W electric motor designed to propel boats up to 3000 kg in seawater, freshwater, and brackish water. Steering is provided by a tiller or a remote control.
This electric outboard motor features an energy recovery function, allowing the batteries to be recharged while sailing. Its electric drive operation offers continuous speed levels. The Navy 6.0 offers a short shaft of 64 cm and a manually adjustable trim/tilt angle.
This Navy 6.0 outboard incorporates closed-loop cooling technology, which significantly reduces the need for regular maintenance. It does not have a reverse gear, which reduces vibrations, noise (55 dB) and increases reliability. The maximum thrust of this model is 131.5 kg.
The Navy 6.0 operates at a voltage of 48V and does not integrate a lithium battery. It is compatible with a safety lanyard that immediately stops the motor in case of a man overboard. Its design was awarded the IF Design Award in 2015.
