FURUNO DRS2D-NXT RADAR: COMPACT, EFFICIENT AND DOPPLER

Furuno DRS2D-NXT Radar: a compact 20-inch (49cm) radar offering the performance of a beam radar without a magnetron.

Designed for Navnet TZtouch, TZtouch2 or TZtouch3 owners, the Furuno DRS2D-NXT Radar brings the power of Doppler technology with a range of 48 nautical miles, all in a compact radome.

The Furuno DRS2D-NXT Radar incorporates the flagship features of the NXT range: Target Analyzer, Rezboost, Bird mode and Rain mode, for safe and efficient navigation.

The Furuno DRS2D-NXT Radar uses Doppler technology for optimized navigation. The Target Analyzer function instantly identifies potentially dangerous targets, increasing safety on board. Dangerous targets turn from green to red for immediate identification. In addition, the radar detects storms and displays target movement (Echo Trail).

The Fast Target Tracking function of the Furuno DRS2D-NXT Radar automatically tracks up to 100 targets simultaneously up to 3 nautical miles, displaying a speed and heading vector for each target. Targets at risk of collision are displayed in red, others in green. A collision risk alarm (TCPA) can be activated.

The Furuno DRS2D-NXT Radar benefits from the RezBoost function, which reduces the beam for echoes up to 2 times sharper, allowing close mooring buoys to be differentiated and providing an accurate image equivalent to a radar with a 2° beam.

The Bird mode of the Furuno DRS2D-NXT Radar helps to identify gatherings of birds around schools of fish, automatically adjusting settings for optimal visibility.
