ø 40 mm Harken sheave box, an essential equipment for cruising or racer-cruiser sailboats, combining performance and durability. This Harken sheave box is distinguished by its innovative design and ease of installation.
The main advantage of this Harken sheave box lies in its injection-molded composite cheeks. This process uses fiberglass-reinforced nylon, offering superior resistance to impacts and UV rays.
This Harken sheave box is equipped with 40 mm diameter sheaves and designed for a rope with a diameter of up to 12 mm. Stacking is possible (2 boxes maximum) to optimize deck space. Fixing screws are not included and require a 6 mm countersunk head. The working load per sheave is 700 kg. In the case of stacking, the working load of the upper box is reduced to 2/3 of the indicated value, or approximately 460 kg per sheave. The 2-sheave model is 104 mm long, 24 mm high and weighs 70 g. The 3-sheave model is 147 mm long, 24 mm high and weighs 103 g. The 4-sheave model is 190 mm long, 24 mm high and weighs 135 g. The 6-sheave model is 233 mm long, 24 mm high and weighs 168 g.
