The RINA Boat Fire Extinguishers FK-5-1-12+ 3 to 12L ANAF are automatic gas extinguishing systems designed to protect an engine compartment or a technical room on board. RINA and CE approved, they act by environmental saturation and leave no residue, unlike powder-based extinguishing.
RESIDUE-FREE FK-5-1-12+ GAS
This boat fire extinguisher model uses FK-5-1-12+ gas as a replacement for Halon 1301. The kit includes a charged cylinder, a SPRINTVALVE valve with thermal activation at 93 °C, a 6 m remote control cable (reducible), and a mounting bracket. The installation works without additional piping or nozzles.

The RINA Boat Fire Extinguishers FK-5-1-12+ 3 to 12L ANAF cover a volume by saturation according to the chosen charge, from 3 to 12 L. The coverage values are intended for a sealed room; in the presence of openings, a 50% increase must be calculated. Multiple extinguishers can be installed for larger volumes.
