The cover that envelops the Pilot 165 vest 's flange has been designed to bring elegance and modernity to the vest, while ensuring excellent comfort thanks to a refined and optimized cut, without being compacted to keep more flexibility.
The Pilot 165 Plastimo cover is closed by a zip offering an excellent protection of the inner tube and avoiding unexpected openings. This also allows an easier reconditioning during maintenance operations.
PILOT 165 : 3 RELEASE SYSTEMS FOR MORE VERSATILITY
The Plastimo Pilot 165 vest is available in 3 release options:
Automatic UML: Cellulose pellet which disintegrates on contact with water and releases the CO2 cylinder release system.
Automatic Hammar: Hydrostatic valve which is activated by water pressure. The principle prevents any untimely triggering, but remains more complicated to reactivate.
Manual: The wearer activates it himself in case of a fall in the sea. Warning: minimum safety level, the system does not activate if the sailor falls overboard while unconscious.
For more safety, the three versions of the vest can be activated manually.
