SKIPPER 150N 4WATER AUTOMATIC LIFEJACKET : A COMPACT AND COMFORTABLE LIFEJACKET
The Skipper 150N 4Water Automatic Life Jacket is an ultra-compact bladder vest with a short cut. The softness of its outer fabric makes it a very comfortable vest.
It has an effective buoyancy of 165N and is available in 4 versions depending on the type of release and the presence or absence of a harness loop to add a lanyard. The three types of release are :
- Automatic UML: Cellulose pad< which disintegrates on contact with water and releases the CO2 cylinder release system.
- Automatic Hammar: Hydrostatic valve which is activated by water pressure. The principle prevents any untimely triggering, but remains more complicated to reactivate.
- Manual: the wearer activates it himself in case of a fall in the sea. Warning: Minimum safety level. The system does not activate if the sailor falls overboard while unconscious.
