The E163 / 8345 Wh / 48 V Epropulsion Battery is a lithium-ion battery specifically designed for use on boats equipped with ePropulsion electric motors from the Navy 3.0 / 6.0, Spirit Plus and Pod Drive ranges. This model offers a capacity of 8345 Wh and a voltage of 48V, ensuring reliable and efficient power for your propulsion system.

The E163 Battery is equipped with an integrated BMS (Battery Management System), constantly managing battery performance and safety. Its extruded and anodized aluminum housing provides robust protection, waterproof to IP67 standard, and fire-resistant thanks to its honeycomb structure and safe distance between cells. This type of lithium-ion battery (LifePO4) offers high energy density and a large number of life cycles: 3000 cycles at 80% DOD.

This model, weighing 76 kg and measuring 470 x 295 x 495 mm, can be connected in parallel (up to 16 batteries) to increase the total system capacity. Communication is ensured by CAN-Bus in parallel and RS485 for ePropulsion motors, allowing data synchronization and an intelligent operating strategy. The supported charging temperature is 0° C to 55° C and the operating temperature is -10 °C to +60 °C.

This type of E163 Battery complies with UN3480 navigation standards, certified class 9 UN38.3 and CE, UKCA and FCC standards. The maximum continuous discharge current is 150A and the charging voltage is 57.6V. It has a 2-year warranty for non-commercial use.
