One of the main features of the Furuno FR12 Radar Display is the "Risk Visualizer". It provides clear visual information on collision risk areas and the movements of nearby vessels. This function allows for a quick assessment of potential threats.

The Furuno FR12 Radar Display also offers Echo Average, Target Analyzer, Fast Target Tracking, RezBoost, and radar/chart overlay. These tools simplify monitoring and improve target detection, ensuring safer journeys. Fast Target Tracking analyzes the movements of other boats and facilitates the anticipation of dangerous situations.

Also enjoy additional features such as customizable AIS and configurable control buttons. The Furuno FR12 Radar Display is compatible with all Furuno radar antennas from the DRS series (radome or open array), offering great flexibility in choosing your equipment.


	RISK VISUALIZER FUNCTION OF THE FR12 RADAR DISPLAY The "Risk Visualizer" function of the Furuno FR12 Radar Display displays collision risk zones based on the position and movements of surrounding vessels. It offers a quick and intuitive overview of the situation around your vessel. Colored alerts (green to red) allow you to assess the level of threat and plan your maneuvers accordingly. Furuno incorporates this feature to enhance safety at sea.

FAST TARGET TRACKING FUNCTION The "Fast Target Tracking" functionality of the Furuno FR12 Radar Display allows you to visualize the speed and direction of targets. Targets are automatically tracked for immediate calculation of their trajectory and display of their velocity vector. The maximum number of tracked targets is 100 when connected to DRS-NXT or DRS-X_CLASS radars.

	TARGET ANALYZER FUNCTION The Furuno FR12 Radar Display incorporates the "Target Analyzer" function, which examines targets and identifies those that are potentially risky. Targets are colored according to the level of potential collision danger. This color-coded representation of targets facilitates the identification of threats.

ECHO AVERAGE TECHNOLOGY The "Echo Average" technology integrated into the Furuno FR12 Radar Display attenuates inconsistent echoes and stabilizes the echoes of boats. This facilitates observation, even in unfavorable weather conditions.

	A CUSTOMIZED AIS The Furuno FR12 Radar Display allows you to configure the AIS according to your preferences. AIS indicators (maximum 100) can be customized with nine distinct shades. The hues are memorized, and an AIS target sharing the same MMSI will be displayed with the recorded colors. This is useful for tracking the location of specific vessels or a fleet.

Radar/Chart Overlay The Furuno FR12 Radar Display has the ability to display radar returns superimposed on MapMedia MM3D charts. In addition, connected to the GP-3700 via Ethernet, it allows you to display waypoints and tracks. To activate this function, the optional chart kit RP OP03-266-E is required.
