This Harken 2-speed mainsail purchase integrates an ingenious system that allows for fast adjustment thanks to a "classic" purchase, and a finer adjustment for precise control of the mainsail. With 4:1 and 8:1 ratios, this purchase is suitable for sailboats from 6.5 meters to 11.80 meters (22 to 39 feet).

Unlike traditional double purchases, the Harken 2-speed mainsail purchase significantly reduces the risk of line tangling. The principle is simple: for fast adjustment, pull on both strands simultaneously; for fine adjustment, pull on a single strand for higher mechanical advantage.

Key features of the Harken 2-speed mainsail purchase: it features a 4:1/8:1 configuration, a cam cleat, and allows for very precise control. It is designed for boats from 6.5 to 11.8 m and for a mainsail area of 32.4 m² maximum. Please note that the rope is not included with the purchase system.
