PILOT 165: 3 ACTIVATION SYSTEMS FOR MORE VERSATILITY

The Plastimo Pilot 165 life jacket is available in 3 activation options:

Automatic UML : Cellulose capsule which, upon disintegrating in contact with water, releases the CO2 cylinder activation system.

Automatic Hammar : Hydrostatic valve that activates under water pressure. The principle prevents accidental activation, but remains more complicated to rearm.

Manual: the wearer pulls the toggle themselves in case of falling overboard. Caution: minimum level of safety, the system does not trigger if the sailor falls overboard while unconscious.
