The Hammar Spinlock Deckvest Vito 275N is a high performance automatic lifejacket. The Vito life jacket was designed for the Volvo Ocean Race, a crewed, round-the-world, single-hull sailing race.

This Spinlock lifejacket offers a total buoyancy of 275 Newtons. This model, very worked, allows a comfort and a perfect safety in all circumstances. It has been designed for sailors carrying heavy equipment or for those sailing in the most extreme conditions.

A LIFEJACKET WITH HAMMAR RELEASE SYSTEM

The Deckvest Vito 275N Hammar Spinlock is equipped with the Hammar hydrostatic system. The release is made by the water pressure once the wearer has fallen overboard. This release system is preferred in extreme conditions, for example when sailing offshore.

The advantage of the Hammar system is that the lung of the vest cannot inflate accidentally when wet by rain or spray. The Hammar system must be submerged at least 10cm under water to be activated. An indicator allows you to check at any time theoperating status of the vest.

HARNESS RELEASE SYSTEM

The Harness Release System™(optional) is a unique system that guarantees a simple release from a safety line, even when fully loaded. It is easily accessible with either hand, but greatly reduces the risk of accidental snagging or release.
