QUICKSILVER 25 L FUEL TANK 8M0083451: INTEGRATED PROTECTED QUICK-CONNECT FITTING

The 25 L fuel tank with handle Quicksilver 8M0083451 is designed to easily supply a Mercury or Mariner outboard engine equipped with a compatible fuel hose.

Unlike the Quicksilver 8M0047607 tank, it features a built-in protected quick-connect outlet. It is therefore not necessary to separately screw a 1/4" NPT fitting onto the tank. Simply use a fuel hose equipped with the corresponding Quicksilver quick connector.

QUICK CONNECTION AND DOUBLE SEAL

The fuel outlet is designed to receive a double-seal quick connector. This system makes it easier to connect and disconnect the fuel hose, especially when the tank needs to be regularly removed from the boat for filling, transport, or storage.

The fitting is installed in a protected housing to limit the risk of impact or damage during handling. This configuration is the main difference from reference 8M0047607 and explains its higher price point.

DESIGNED FOR MERCURY AND MARINER INSTALLATIONS

This tank is particularly suitable for Mercury and Mariner outboard engines using an external supply with a compatible quick-connect fitting. Before purchasing, it is advisable to verify that the hose has the connector corresponding to the tank outlet.

The complete hose and fuel connector should only be considered included if they are expressly indicated in the product composition.

INTEGRATED GAUGE AND MANUAL VENT

The integrated mechanical gauge allows for quick monitoring of the remaining fuel level. The cap equipped with a manual vent allows for pressure balancing in the tank during use.

The molded handle facilitates transport of the tank and its installation in the boat. Its robust construction is adapted to the constraints encountered on board a vessel.
