MY-AIS SIMY BEACONS : YOUR SAFETY ALLY AT SEA

The My-AIS SIMY BEACONS beacon is the smallest boat distress beacon in the world. It is designed to ensure the safety of boaters at sea. Ultra-compact, it can be easily integrated into all types of life jackets: foam or automatic activation.

HOW DOES THE MY-AIS BEACON WORK?

The SIMY beacon can be activated manually or automatically. It allows you to transmit your GPS position instantly to vessels around you, as well as to coastal rescue stations within radio range (5 to 10 miles depending on sea conditions) using AIS technology.

Your distress is immediately spotted and located. The nearest vessels can then divert to assist you as soon as possible. The Simy beacon incorporates AIS technology, which allows boats to exchange information via VHF radio waves. Once activated, the My-AIS SIMY BEACONS beacon sends a radio distress signal to any nearby boat.

TO INSTALL YOUR SIMY BEACON, NOTHING COULD BE EASIER

Your beacon is easily attached to all life jackets available on the market. For an inflatable vest, you can use themouthpiece or the plastic strap clip provided for this purpose. For a buoyancy aid, your beacon will be installed on the outside of the vest.

Attention: in the case of a manual activation, the SIMY beacon must be activated by the user.
