HYCO-OBS KIT UP TO 150 HP - ULTRAFLEX SIDE CYLINDER: HYDRAULIC STEERING SYSTEM FOR OUTBOARD MOTOR BOATS

The Hyco-OBS Kit up to 150 HP - Ultraflex side cylinder is a hydraulic steering system designed for boats equipped with an outboard motor with a power of up to 150 HP. This Ultraflex kit complies with ISO 10592 and CE 95/25 standards. It is recommended not to install it on boats sailing at more than 40 knots.

This kit includes a UP20F pump with front mounting. This pump has a non-return valve for secure steering locking. Its composite housing offers good corrosion resistance. It is compatible with a steering wheel with a maximum diameter of 508 mm (20 inches) and has a 3/4 inch connection shaft. The flow rate of this pump is 20 cm3 and it withstands a pressure of 70 bars. The fittings required for assembly are included.

The kit also includes a UC68-OBS side-mounted cylinder, which can be installed on the starboard or port side of the outboard motor. This cylinder has an inner diameter of 25 mm and a stroke of 203 mm, developing a thrust between 185 and 270 Kg. Its flow rate is 68 cm³. This cylinder can be used on single-engine, twin-engine or single-engine systems with two steering stations.

The Hyco-OBS Kit up to 150 HP - Ultraflex side cylinder is supplied with two KIT OB-MD flexible hydraulic hoses with a length of 6 meters and a diameter of 3/8 inch. They are crimped on both sides, with anti-flexion sleeves at one end and brass tips at the other. The hydraulic oil supplied (2 liters) complies with the ISO-VG15 standard. These hoses withstand a maximum pressure of 70 bars. During installation, ensure a minimum radius of 75 mm at the pump and 250 mm at the cylinder, and leave sufficient length at the cylinder.
