The Minn Kota gyro sensor is an essential accessory to optimize the Spot-Lock function of your electric motor. This integrated Bluetooth heading sensor communicates the heading of your boat to your bow-mounted motor in real time, allowing for precise position adjustment. The Jog Spot-Lock function then becomes possible, moving your boat in 1.5 m increments.
IMMEDIATE DRIFT CORRECTION
This compass detects changes in boat position caused by winds and currents. The Minn Kota gyro sensor instantly transmits the information to the electric motor, which corrects the drift and maintains the desired heading. It is compatible with Minn Kota PowerDrive and Riptide PowerDrive motors equipped with the Bluetooth i-Pilot system (models from 2017 onwards), and included as standard with the Ultrex, Ulterra, Terrova, Riptide Ulterra and Riptide Terrova ranges equipped with Bluetooth i-Pilot and i-Pilot Link systems (models from 2017 onwards).
