Opposing carbo air Harken pulleys are an assembly of two fixed pulleys designed specifically to improve the equipment of boom vang and bridle on your boat.
This pulley is perfect for designing a lightweight sheet track on sailboats not equipped or for adding an intermediate tackle in an existing sheet tackle. The design of this composition of two pulleys offers great flexibility and many applications on your boat.
The body of the Opposing carbo air Harken pulleys is made of Carbo composite, ensuring great lightness and high strength. The free ball bearings on the raceway, combined with the UV-treated Delrin acetal resin balls, guarantee smooth and durable operation, even in harsh marine conditions.
The Opposing carbo air Harken pulleys is available in two sizes:
- Carbo Air 29 mm: Sheave diameter of 29 mm, length of 52 mm, weight of 26 g, recommended rope diameter of 8 mm, working load of 150 Kg and breaking load of 454 Kg.
- Carbo Air 40 mm: Sheave diameter of 40/29 mm, length of 75 mm, weight of 44 g, recommended rope diameter of 10/8 mm, working load of 150 Kg and breaking load of 454 Kg.
