The HX890E portable VHF is one of the most complete marine VHFs on the market! The Standard Horizon brand has taken into account the feedback from its customers on the previous model to improve its product offering and propose a new VHF HX890E with integrated GPS function more successful.
This Standard Horizon VHF takes all the features of the old version and adds new ones, for the greatest happiness of navigators. The HX890E is the only handheld VHF capable of sending its position directly through the active DSC signal, in addition to having a built-in strobe mode.
Standard Horizon designed this handheld VHF to be as easy to use as possible: its large screen provides a clear display, while its large keys make it easy to operate. It has a battery life of 11 hours in constant use and 3/4 days in standby.
HX890 STANDARD HORIZON, WATERPROOF VHF WITH INTEGRATED GPS
The VHF HX890E Standard Horizon guarantees reliability and robustness, in addition to a flawless performance. For safety, it includes a GPS function with DSC (automatic distress signal at the touch of a button) to allow you to send identification and position information to the rescue in case of danger or shipwreck at sea.
Finally, the VHF HX890E is waterproof (IPX8) and buoyant. If it accidentally falls into the water, a light is automatically activated, so you do not risk losing it.
