FURUNO FA70 AIS TRANSPONDER FOR SHIP: CLASS B+ 5 W AIS TRANSPONDER

The Furuno FA70 AIS transponder for ship is a Class B+ AIS transponder designed to exchange navigation information with ships equipped with an AIS system in order to reduce the risk of collision. It receives surrounding AIS data and transmits your boat's data thanks to a 5 W transmission power. In addition, it integrates with AIS-compatible radars and chart plotters.

VISIBILITY AND ONBOARD INTEGRATION

The Furuno FA70 AIS transponder for ship features a silent mode allowing you to deactivate AIS transmission while maintaining the reception of data from other ships. Its integrated VHF splitter, switchable SO-TDMA and CS-TDMA modes, 12 to 24 V power supply, and IP55 protection rating facilitate its integration on many boats.
