ADVANCED PERFORMANCE AND FEATURES

The Furuno FCV800 Sounder facilitates the identification of fishing areas by providing a clear view of the seabed and aquatic wildlife. Its wide range of colors, including Full Sun and Yellow modes, ensures optimal visibility regardless of lighting conditions.

It integrates features such as TruEcho CHIRP, Accu-Fish, and Bottom Discrimination, helping with echo interpretation and fish localization. Wireless connectivity allows the use of a second screen for complete visualization.

IMAGING AND ANALYSIS TECHNOLOGIES

The TruEcho CHIRP function uses a wide frequency band of 40 to 225 kHz, offering superior resolution and target separation compared to traditional sounders. This technology makes it possible to clearly visualize bait fish, predator fish, and underwater structures.

The Accu-Fish function evaluates fish size (from 10 cm to 200 cm) and displays them on the screen as symbols, facilitating their identification at depths ranging from 2 to over 100 meters. The RezBoost technology improves echo resolution and discrimination with a conventional transducer, making it easier to distinguish forage fish from predators and to spot individual fish near the bottom.

The Bottom Discrimination function analyzes the nature of the seabed and indicates whether it is composed of rock, gravel, sand, or mud, helping to locate promising fishing grounds. The graphic display and Probability mode provide a clear representation of bottom composition.
