THE WICHARD BACKSTAY RIGGING SCREW RANGE

Wichard backstay rigging screws allow you to optimize your rig and sail plan to make your life easier. Adjusting the backstay will allow you to modify the shape of the main sail to improve the performance of your boat.

Installed at the back of the cockpit, this backstay adjuster will allow you to adjust the tension of the standing rigging according to the sail and weather conditions.

THE DIFFERENT TYPES OF BACKSTAY TENSIONERS

There are three different models of Wichard rigging screws:

• With wheels: ideal for small cruisers, it offers an excellent quality/price ratio. Suitable for adjusting the rake and bending the mast of boats.
• With handle: model with only one handle, it allows you to reduce your footprint. Ideal for boats up to 35 feet.
• With ratchet: model equipped with a ratchet, it allows to reduce your encumbrance. You can easily adjust the backstay cable from the helm.
