The Furuno FA170/GPA017S AIS transceiver for ship is a SOLAS-approved Class A AIS transponder designed to transmit and receive vessel identification data. It features a 4.3" color LCD screen, a GPA-017S GPS antenna, and a 12/24 VDC power supply. It communicates with navigation equipment via its LAN interface and six IEC-61162 outputs.
BRIDGE INTEGRATION
The Furuno FA170/GPA017S AIS transceiver for ship is compatible with radars, ECDIS, gyrocompasses, and VDRs. It is BAM Ready, supports AIS-SART signals for search and rescue operations, displays a dangerous target list, and can receive an optional Pilot Plug.
