FURUNO DRS6A-NXT SERIES MARITIME RADAR ANTENNA: SOLID-STATE DOPPLER OPEN ARRAY RADAR

The Furuno DRS6A-NXT series maritime radar antenna is a magnetron-free Solid-State Doppler radar designed for the detection of vessels, obstacles, birds, and schools of fish up to 72 NM. Compatible with NavNet TZtouch, TZtouch2, and TZtouch3 systems, it is intended for offshore and coastal navigation. The Target Analyzer™, RezBoost™, Bird Mode, and Rain Mode functions facilitate target identification in all conditions.

TARGET DETECTION AND TRACKING

Thanks to Doppler technology, the Furuno DRS6A-NXT series maritime radar antenna automatically distinguishes targets approaching the vessel by displaying them in red, while targets moving away remain green. The Fast Target Tracking™ and Auto Target Acquire™ functions ensure the tracking of 100 ARPA targets, including 40 automatically acquired via Doppler. The Dual Range Mode, Overlay Mode, and a rotation speed of 24, 36, or 48 RPM improve the reading of radar information with no warm-up time.

RESOLUTION AND CONFIGURATION

Available with a 3.5', 4', or 6' radiator, this Furuno DRS6A-NXT series maritime radar antenna develops 25 W of power thanks to pulse compression technology. The RezBoost™ processing refines the beam to improve echo separation, while Bird Mode facilitates the location of birds associated with schools of fish. Its 12/24 V power supply and IP56 protection rating allow for installation on many boats.
